25 Things To Do Before You Turn 25

Once you turn 25, it means you've spent a quarter of your life already. You're young, vibrant and still full of life and a lot of optimism for the life ahead.
Before you reach the silver jubilee of your birth, there are a few things you should have crossed out of your bucket list or achieved.

1. Enjoy being single.



While almost everyone is desperate to get married, let's not forget this time of your life is just for you. It is the best time to discover yourself, enjoy your company, focus on you and other things important to you.

2. Try new foods.



There are so many delicious meals out there, yet, a lot of us are stuck eating only 3 or 4 meals, no variety. Get out there, try a new recipe or something foreign. There are so many to choose from.

3. Become an expert at something




It could be in a sport, a craft, in tech. Find something you're really good at.

4. Enjoy the remnants of your childhood





A lot of us are in a hurry to grow up, we aren't enjoying our youth as we should. Enjoy the few years you have, before the world sees you as a fully grown, responsible adult.

5. Earn and save money


You don't know what could come up. Plus, having your own money will aid you in getting financially independent.

6. Reduce the junk and start eating healthy


Now is the the time for you to start a healthy lifestyle! Your older self will thank you for it. Once you start getting older, its all downhill from here and you will reap the results of your health choices in your younger days.

7. Travel alone.


Explore places alone and enjoy your own company. With no company or distractions, it is a relaxing experience.

8. Make your relationships strong and meaningful.





Build strong relationships with family, friends and people you want around you. Surrounding yourself with people who genuinely love you will bring you a lot of happiness and peace of mind.

9. Take more pictures.


More pictures means more memories, and more happy things to look back at.

10. Step out of your comfort zone.

Do something you wouldn't do normally. Engage in sports, learn new stuff, tell that special person you love them

Whether it's you favorite artiste or band, concerts can be a really fun way to unwind, forget about your problems and just sing along and dance to your favorite songs.

Some people meditate, others find a hobby to distract them. It varies in every individual. Stress is very common and happens to everyone. So find a way that helps you relieve stress.

Learn how to prioritize yourself before others. Cancel toxic people. Learn self-confidence and ignore people who want you to always put them before yourself.

15. Improve mentally and emotionally. Try and become a better person. Fix your character flaws. Apologize to people you offended. Let go of grudges.

16. Live alone. As long as you want.


Whether for a month or a year, living alone may seem scary to some, but it will be worthwhile.

17. Work towards getting your dream job/career


Some of us are stuck in jobs and careers that we don't want because of circumstances. Instead of wallowing in disappointment, how about you take a bold step?

18. Spend more time with family.


 

Tell your siblings you love them. Tell your parents you appreciate them for everything. Go on family outings together. Go home during weekends. Don't wait until they're gone till you show them love. Do it now.

19. Go on dates


 

Dates are a nice way to meet more people. If you go with the right person, dates will be pleasant memories and nights we won't forget.

20. Do the 100 books challenge.


Make a  goal to read 100 books in one year.

21. Get a driver's license

Some of us have no clue about the world's political state, and no clue about history. Read up on unbiased history (not conspiracy theories) to learn more about your country and the rest of the world.

23. Organize/Throw a party for someone else.



It could be a friend, sibling or parent. This is a very good way to tell the you care and they will never forget it.

24. Find your personal style and build your wardrobe accordingly.

 

Find outfits that you are comfortable with, and are also a expression of you. You can get inspiration from others, but don't try to copy. Do you.
